Course Overview

The LVE Self-Reflection, is a self-development course offering a 12 week online engagement with one value per week through guided daily introspection and reflection on each value and its place, meaning and significance in one’s own life. Through a series of weekly questions relative to each Value we unravel the truth about what we think and feel about ourselves and how we relate good or bad with others and the world around us.

Program Outline/Syllabus

Over this 12 week online engagement with one value per week through guided daily introspection and reflection on each value and its place, meaning and significance in one’s own life.

Weekly Values inquiry into personal beliefs, attitude and behavior. I record my answers to the questions in the book provided. During the week I reflect on the quality of the Values and at weeks end make any necessary changes to my earlier response. On completion of the 12 weeks I see for myself the truth of my life from the balance of all the Values.

Engaged with honesty, I discover ”Who I am” relative to the 12 Values of Peace, Love and Caring, Respect, Responsibility, Tolerance, Honesty, Humility, Happiness, Cooperation, Simplicity, Freedom, and Unity. With better understanding of myself, I can make the necessary changes to re-balance my life.

The LVE Approach is non-prescriptive and its underlying concept of the central role that values play in all human endeavour and activity, whether personal, social or communal, continues to find resonance and touch hearts and minds in a multitude of cultural contexts. In many countries, individuals have wished to share LVE with their families, friends, colleagues and others, sometimes in a personal capacity as volunteers and sometimes organisationally. In both cases they may apply to ALIVE, which accepts organisations as members (also known as Associates) and recognises individuals as Focal Points for LVE.
