The Master of Construction Management has been developed in partnership with construction industry leaders to meet the demand for professional managers who are technically competent in construction and able to manage the complexity of modern construction projects.

The programme is aimed at construction professionals including engineers, quantity surveyors and architects

And choose 15 points from

  • ENBU812 Engineering Resource Efficiency (15 points)
  • ENBU816 International Construction I (15 points)

Semester 2 courses

  • ENBU821 Supply Chain Management for Construction (15 points)
  • ENGE816 Specialist Readings: Engineering Risk Management (Coursework Based) (15 points).

And choose one 15-point course from a selection of courses covering areas such as IT management, engineering, international construction, supply chain management, operations management or HR.

There is also the possibility of including 15 points from any masters degree offered by AUT, subject to programme leader approval.


<p>Minimum entry requirements</p><br>
<p>One of the following with a B grade average or higher in level 7 courses:</p>
<ul>
<li>Relevant bachelor’s degree OR</li>
<li>Relevant graduate diploma OR</li>
<li>Relevant professional qualification or experience approved by the Dean (or representative) to be equivalent to at least a three-year bachelor’s degree</li><br>
<p>AND</p><br>
<li>Relevant engineering or managerial work experience approved by the Dean (or representative) to be equivalent to one year of advanced study</li>
</ul>

<p>Students with qualifications from outside of New Zealand Applying on the basis of a qualification from another country? Use your official results for one of the following tests or qualifications to meet the English language requirements. Results can be up to two years old.</p>
