In a world where technology continues to overcome geographic limitations, the Master of Global Business is an increasingly relevant qualification. A Master of Global Business equips you with the skills to become an integral part of an organisation that works with international markets, suppliers and customers.
Modules
The Master of Global Business is taught over three 10-week trimesters. Each trimester includes 10 weeks of teaching with exams scheduled in weeks 11 and 12.
All courses are 15 points except for the Research Project in Global Business which is 45 points. Textbooks are included in your course fees.
There are three key elements: Core professional knowledge and skills in international business (90 points), associated business knowledge and skills (45 points), and a research project in global business, a chance to apply the knowledge learned earlier to issues in global business (45 points).

What will I learn?
A graduate of the Master of Global Business will be able to:
a. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of global business professional practices. (Knowledge/Understanding)
b. Use reflection at an advanced level to deepen knowledge of self, others and relevant professional practice. (Personal/Intellectual Autonomy)
c. Demonstrate advanced capability to consider relevant social, ethical, environmental and sustainability dimensions of decisions in business contexts. (Ethical/Professional Dispositions)
d. Use advanced conceptual and critical thinking, analysis, reasoning, integration and judgement. (Inquiry/Research/Creativity)
e. Engage with business in the application of appropriate global business practices, and will have experience of planning, executing and reporting on an industry based project. (Skills/ Application)
f. Communicate effectively and able to produce high quality.

<li>Are under the age of 20 years; and</li>
<li>Are a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand or Australia; and</li>
<li>Don’t meet the University Entrance standard; and</li>
<li>Have received secondary schooling to at least New Zealand Year 12 level (or its equivalent overseas) and completed NCEA Level 2 endorsed with Merit or better. This should include at least 14 credits in each of 4 NCEA Level 2 subjects, at least 3 of which must be on the approved subject list; and</li>
<li>Meet the UE literacy and numeracy standards, or their equivalents; and</li>
<li>Have not completed Year 13 at a New Zealand secondary school; or</li>
<li>Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Applicants must also be selected into the programme for which they have applied.</li><br>

<p>Cost of applying for Discretionary Entrance There is a non-refundable assessment fee of $50.00.</p>
